About History Unlimited

History Unlimited is a ‘browse and buy’ web site that combines listings, reviews and editorial comment with direct links to the Amazon online store. At the current stage of development the History Unlimited Bookshop comprises some 300 titles by classical, classic and modern authors on subjects that range from earliest prehistory to the Vietnam War. Our Film Store lists more than 500 productions from the popular cinema of the last 100 years. Our Blues and Jazz pages list more than 360 albums and boxed sets, and key biographies are being added. There will be more to come! Overall, our intention is to provide an historical overview with a sideways glance at modern popular culture, an aspect of living history that is sometimes ignored by academic historians.

This assumes that the customer has a reasonably clear idea of what he is looking for. History Unlimited makes no such assumption.
